"Never doubt that a group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world.
Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."
The success of many programs and events at West Des Moines Human Services depends on the help of our dedicated volunteers. Each individual who volunteers at West Des Moines Human Services has unique skills and life experiences to offer; all of which are necessary and valuable in meeting the needs of other individuals in the community. The volunteers at West Des Moines Human Services take pride in the work they do as a team making a difference in the community. If you have a few hours per week, we have a rewarding experience to offer you. Volunteers are needed in our Food Pantry, Clothing Closet and at the front desk as well as for special events throughout the year. Volunteer opportunities are available Monday through Friday between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm. We would love to have YOU join our team!
