WDM Police Seek the Public’s Assistance in a Series of Home Invasions

On April 30th at approximately 1:45 A.M. West Des Moines Police Officers were dispatched to 264 Holiday Circle in reference to a burglary/sexual assault.

Subsequent investigation revealed an unknown subject entered the town home via an unknown location and went to the bedroom where the occupants were sleeping. The unknown subject advised the occupants he had a knife. The unknown subject then sexually assaulted the 24 year old female.
The unknown subject in this case is described as a black male adult, 6’0” with a medium muscular build. The unknown subject was wearing a dark colored baggy pull over hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

There are four other home invasions that have occurred since December that have similarities and could have been perpetrated by the same person.

In each of the above incidents either a physical assault or sexual assault occurred.
